Lehigh.Me has been upgraded to allow you to sign into the blog with your facebook or twitter account! That means that anyone that has a facebook or twitter account (as well as Yahoo!) can login and comment on your posts.
This opens the pool of people that can comment on it without registering for a new account to the millions of people. We help this will increase the level of activity on Lehigh.Me and also it allows you to post anything you wish on your facebook profile page or your twitter account and any individual reading it can now comment directly on Lehigh (without having to login a second time!)
Great news!

Hi Everyone .. I just wanted to point out that Lehigh’s twitter feed feels unloved and unappreciated. The twitter feed located at http://twitter.com/lehighedu auto updates each time this blog is updated… and honestly we are using it as one of the measures of the success of the site. People tend not to follow something that has limited followers. So please follow the twitter feed, that way you know when the site is updated, how it’s updated.
Perhaps many of you feel it’s not relevant to your studies, the flip side to that is that it’s highly likely your eventual students will be using it.. or a similar service.
So even if you don’t see the need now, eventually the chances are high that you might see the need to use some types of social media in the future.
Also worth noting, it’s a growing trend as a means for communication between professors and students, as well as job prospects as it helps build online relationships with like minded people.

Lehigh.Me is now on Twitter! The twitter feed located at http://twitter.com/lehighedu is now active and live.
Every post on Lehigh,Me (going forward) will now notify Twitter. So feel free to follow the Twitter feed, as it will keep you in touch via your mobile phone. If you wish to post to this twitter feed, all you simply have to do is make a post on Lehigh.Me and it will automatically update!
Cool beans eh?
